Where it breaks for a fabrication shop
Built for the office, tolerated on the floor
MRPeasy's interface is form-based, designed for a planner at a desk. There is no gloved-hands kiosk mode, so floor data gets batch-entered late, and a production schedule built on yesterday's data is a guess, not a schedule.
Fabrication is not its native shape
Its BOM and routing model is generic light manufacturing. Dimensional material, offcuts, heat-number traceability, and quoting from a drawing are workarounds, not features. A fab shop's stocktake is plate, offcut, and remnant, not neat SKUs.
Support and training are metered
Training is billed at US$150 an hour and support plans run US$199–499 a month on MRPeasy's own pricing page. Fair, but metered, and on US and EU hours. An Australian shop's morning is their night.
